Dr. Joel Krupa has held senior leadership and advisory roles in a range of sustainability-oriented public, private, and civil society organizations, while maintaining an active academic career.
Joel’s past work has examined the nuances of financing the energy transition, navigating systemic climate risk, and supporting Indigenous economic inclusion through clean technology deployment.
With Clean Prosperity, he advises on a range of projects, including applied research into electricity, transportation, and finance.
Joel completed postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard University and the University of British Columbia after earning degrees from the University of British Columbia, the University of Oxford, the London School of Economics, and the University of Toronto. He was previously a visiting researcher at both the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies and Imperial College London.
